Multiple repositories per project

Created by: mistertakai

I'm aware that this issue has been raised and closed before. However a software project often requires many smaller project efforts. In my organisation we frequently deal with programs that encompass a dozen or more distinct project efforts. In order to be able to administer this correctly, an aggregation of repos underneath a single gitlab project would be very helpful. Also in terms of transparency for the developers to gauge implementation progress on other repos in the same project / program.

I believe the project = repo solution is simple and that's usually what we want (KIS). However then you just might want to call it a repo and leave the project metaphor out of it.

Also, I believe that simple solutions to complex projects are easy to find but are often false :-)
