Very large commits don't display anything

Created by: dubcanada

Hey,

I made a commit with over 300 modifications/deletes as well as probably 100 large PDF, swf, and other media additions and when I went to the commit page it said

0 changes

and attempting to merge it also resulted in 0 changes in the diff.

But if I check it out, and attempt to do the merge myself, or do a git log it lists all the changes.

I changed my gitlab.yml config to stupidly large numbers and it still didn't list it.

How can I make it show even large commits?
