Cannot remove image after you've uploaded one

I have GitLab EE and we want to remove the login screen image, but we cannot because there is no remove image button. I've noticed that for ANY IMAGE there is not a remove image button, like Group avatar, user avatar etc.
Can I have a remove image button? What is the temporary workaround?
